The role

The Bilingual Web & Digital Growth Specialist plays a key role in managing and optimizing Windmill’s website (English and French) while driving growth in our French-language marketing and conversions. We’re looking for an experienced marketer who brings both creativity and curiosity to understanding what resonates with Francophone and Quebec audiences.

As a self-starter, you take initiative and think beyond execution, connecting data and insights to identify what will drive the biggest impact. In this role, your work goes beyond metrics, you’ll help grow Windmill’s presence and reach in Quebec while empowering more skilled immigrants and refugees to restart their careers.

Key responsibilities

Website management and optimization (50%)

  • Manage and continuously improve Windmill’s bilingual (EN/FR) website, including site structure, landing pages and content
  • Design and build pages, structures, elements and flows in Webflow (no-code platform)
  • Contribute to the website roadmap and identify opportunities to improve performance and growth
  • Monitor and maintain site health, performance, uptime and security in collaboration with external vendors
  • Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed and overall user experience
  • Manage integrations between Webflow, Freshsales and other systems
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on website projects and requests
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility, privacy, security and regulatory standards

Advertising and creative support (25%)

  • Develop and optimize landing pages for paid and organic campaigns
  • Align landing page experience with campaign messaging to deliver high quality scores and page performance
  • Execute SEO strategy and develop French-language SEO content to increase visibility and traffic
  • Support creation of digital assets (e.g., images, ads, videos) using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Provide translation and develop French-language content across website and creatives

Conversion & growth optimization (25%)

  • Build dashboards to track and report on website performance, conversion metrics and lead quality
  • Analyze user behaviour (funnels, drop-offs, heatmaps) to identify conversion opportunities
  • Plan, execute and evaluate A/B tests to improve engagement and lead generation
  • Conduct regular audits using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights and Ahrefs
  • Ensure accurate lead capture, tracking, routing and webform functionality across platforms
  • Maintain analytics and tracking infrastructure (e.g., Google Analytics, tag managers) with external partners
  • Collaborate with other teams to optimize the end-to-end French digital client journey

Experience and qualifications

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in marketing and website management
  • Experience developing and executing marketing tactics, with the ability to identify opportunities and gaps
  • Hands-on experience with Webflow (preferred) or similar CMS platforms and CRM integrations (e.g., Freshsales or equivalent)
  • Efficient with SEO, CRO, web analytics and A/B testing methodologies
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize web experiences
  • Experience using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar
  • Bilingual in English and French (written and professional working proficiency required)
  • Experience in fintech, lending or other regulated industries is an asset

Core competencies

  • Ability to manage marketing projects and campaigns across both traditional and digital channels
  • Strong ownership and accountability; proactive and solutions-oriented
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on measurable growth and conversion
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills in French
  • High attention to detail, including compliance, accuracy, accessibility and user experience
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, lifecycle journeys and tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity is an asset

Compensation and benefits

  • Starting salary range $60,000-$70,000 annually, based on skills and experience required for the role
  • Hybrid work solution with a minimum two (2) days in office, up to three (3) days from home in Montreal or Toronto.
