Many newcomers to Canada require financial support to achieve their personal or professional goals. It can be overwhelming, as a newcomer, to understand all of the lending options available and how to apply for a loan. The Globe and Mail has created a Newcomer’s Guide to Finances series to inform newcomers about the best financial products and lenders on the market right now.
We are delighted to be featured in The Globe and Mail’s third issue of the series. In this issue, Erica Alini highlights the struggle many newcomers have in securing a traditional loan to pay for school, training or accreditation. A Windmill Microlending loan is a lifeline for many newcomers, offering them a low-interest microloan that enables them to complete their accreditation or training.
